Daily Zaps is a place where I add "sweet nothings" to my website for you to enjoy. It is a sort of blog section with posts of general appreciation of things I like, including side projects. Although possibly chaotic, the red line running through the examples have design in mind in terms of technique, format, use, and the communication of an idea.
When everything has to have a spectacular sales pitch behind it often shooting way over budget and truth, this ad campaign of KesselsKramer for the Hans Brinker Budget Hotel in Amsterdam is killer. One of my one and only's!

I often don't get too excited until I see something like this that pushes 3D printing beyond its already miraculous universe. Of course its WHAT you make with it that counts, but still, I am inspired. Petr Novikov and Saša Jokić from Barcelona's Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia created the machine during their internship at Joris Laarman Lab, where students are given a platform to experiment with new digital fabrication methods.
